All the details you need to know about Culinaria Catering Services
Culinaria catering services will do far more than just prepare your wedding menu. Not only will we help coordinate the wedding reception timeline and the flow of the dinner but, in most cases, we also can cut your wedding cake. Here are the most common questions we constantly answer.
Does Culinaria have all required licenses?
Culinaria meets all local health department standards and carries liability insurance, we also have serving liquor license. We do not sell alcohol.
Does Culinaria proposal come full service?
In addition to food preparation, our price includes a chef on site, plus servers according to the number of guest, we offer food service and table clean up at no additional cost.
What’s the average price range and does Culinaria offer a package?
Prices vary depending on appetizer and entrée choices. We can always customize a package. All cost are itemized except when we offer a package. All our prices are all-inclusive, this means chef on site, servers and special event coordinator.
When does Culinaria need finalized guest counts and menu choices?
Final choices need to be made upon service confirmation, final head count must be provided 30 days prior the event in order to plan our resources and staffing for your date.
Is Culinaria able to prepare vegetarian, vegan, dairy free, gluten free, or kosher meals for few guest, and is there an additional fee?
Our Chef and owner Scott McEvoy is willing to work with special dietary restrictions, but it could mean additional cost, however we understand the importance of offering a special meal to certain guests. We will always work with you and your requirements, lets talk about our options at no additional cost for you.
Will Culinaria make special meals for children and other wedding pros, and what does the caterer charge for each?
At Culinaria we know you will need to feed some of your wedding pros who’ll be there at your reception, like your photographer, wedding planner, and your DJ (as well their assistant). We cover your pros at no charge if less than 6. If you are hosting a child friendly reception, we plan for those too, normally 0-10 years old and the charge is half of the normal guest meal price from our kids menu.
When will the tasting take place?
Culinaria offer tastings on after being hired. Some items are not available to taste such is Pig Roast, Paella, because they are only prepared large scale, but we often have public events that may offer an opportunity to taste such menus..
Does Culinaria provided tables, chairs, plates, napkins, silverware and salt and pepper shakers? And how much is the extra cost?
Culinaria do not provide any rental service. You are responsible to rent or supply your own furniture, plates, napkins, silverware, slat and pepper etc. or disposables.
Will Culinaria provide a waitstaff? How many are included and what’s the fee?
We do provide a chef on site and servers according to the number of guest and number of tables. The service fee is included in your proposal.
What will the staff wear?
At Culinaria we know the importance of professional appearance, we ensure our staff dresses appropriately, & professional. Chef coat for chef’s, servers in black or black & white.
Delivery, setup, and breakdown work, there is there additional fee?
Our prices include setup and breakdown for our food and serving stations only, clean up our prep area, dinner tables during dinner and after dinner, rinse dishes and silverware.
Where will Culinaria prepare the food?
Culinaria is very well known for our on site cooking such are Paella, Entire Rotisserie Pig, BBQ and other ethnic food, we bring in our special equipment at no cost. Some menu’s are prepare in our professional kitchen at our Deli, we transport our food in professional hot boxes.
Will Culinaria set out the wedding cards and menus on tables?
No
Who will oversee the event?
Scott Mc.Evoy owner and master chef will always be reachable or he will be performing at your event, also our Special Event Coordinator will supervise the menu and ensure the delivery in full of the contract.
Does Culinaria have extra chargers such as a security deposit, sales tax or service fees?
Culinaria do not require a security deposit, we do require a confirmation deposit deducted in full of the total cost. Tax and services fees are included in the event proposal. There area no additional charges if there are no additional items or guest.
How does Culinaria arrange the food on buffet or plate?Presentation is everything to us, we put a lot of effort and tasteful decoration to our food stations. We do not provide platted service.
